If Ford put these on a Raptor then i think they are good enough for me.
I hope 4wp was just an outlier data point.

I have a set of 35” KO2s and love them. Bought them new back in June and they balanced out with minimal weight. Currently have about 10,000 miles on them and they still ride great. Unfortunately, I got rear-ended a week ago and the sidewall got damaged on one of them, and I had to get it replaced, so I went ahead and replaced both rears, so I’d have a full size spare. Those too, balanced with no issues.

What size are we talking here, 35"?

Its a damn shame that a company like BFG cant get there stuff together. First the Gen2 Raptor guys are getting less than 20K out of there now a balancing issue?

Ive owned 2 sets up 38X15.50R17 PJ M/Ts & a set of 38X15.50R20 Toyo M/Ts and had no balancing issues what so ever.

I had an issue with a LT275/65R20 BFG K02 DT balancing on the machine but would shake the hell out of the truck at 70-80 mph. It ended up being out of round, that a road force balancer picked up. One by one I swapped a wheel/tire combo since Costco would not replace the set. I put the bad tire on a matching wheel and now have a complete set with a matching spare.

Yes, road force balancing might get your tires right. Or close to right. Insist on it at this point. Been there, done it more than once. Discount Tire for one will rebalance forever until you speak with a manager and then says we need to do the road force balancing. It does seem to take them longer to road force balance.
