Default Back-up lighting improvement

Goal: to improve the amount of light so I can see the edges of my driveway at night. I have a 2018 with stock LED lighting...is there another bulb out there that will outperform the stock LED reverse lights to improve back-up lighting? I prefer not to mount lights below the bumper if possible, I’m not totally against it if its the only way to achieve my lighting goal...any suggestions or advise? Thanks in advance for any assistance given.

I have the factory LED taillights and my reverse lights are bright as hell!

Yeah...mine are bright too, seeing directly behind the truck is not a problem...its seeing the edges of my driveway...I may just install some lights that project more to the sides...there is a tread i found on here that details a few members who have installed different options ...i was just hoping to improve the lighting without adding clunky looking lights below/near the bumper...trying to keep a clean look back there.

I believe that with stock led's, there's no ability to change the bulb. Mounting additional lights is probably your only option.

If you have the 7-pin trailer plug, you can attach a set auxiliary LED lights directly to it and point them where you need the light.
By using the reverse circuit, they will go on and off with your factory reverse lights. Easy install.

Do you have the spotlights in your mirrors? Try turning them on and see if that works. Oh, you'll probably have to do the mod first - Run the mirror spotlights whenever you want!

The first thing I’d recommend is a small piece of black tape on the top part of the license plate lights to reduce glare on the camera. Picture for clarity.
