Default Auxbeam headlight

Hello all!

I have a 2019 ford f150 and am looking to upgrade my headlight bulbs. Someone I know has Auxbeam headlights and swears by them.

has anyone installed these into a 2019? Trying to find out if there’s any cons of getting them, before I order.

thanks in advance!

The headlight police are going to chime in to tell you that you are going to blind oncoming traffic by installing LED into incandescent housings. Today's aftermarket LED's are much better than they used to be, even the lessor expensive. I went with Auxito brand in my high, low, and fog locations. Huge difference! Auxbeam's share equally good reviews here.

Check out Headlight Revolution Youtube videos for objective test results for your 2019 F-150. You will be able to pick among several brands with good light output with little light scatter.

thanks! what about sealight? With Auxbeam they mentioned purchasing a decoder, which I would prefer not to do. I’ll also look into Auxito! Appreciate the reply

I had AUXBEAM on my GMC canyon and loved them. I just acquired a 2019 F150 and put AUXBEAM lights in immediately. They sucked. They wouldn't stay on. They would turn on but after a second go right back off. I chose to get some amazon lights and they've been fine.

Auxbeam that were junk ==>
Amazon Amazon

Novsight that are perfectly fine ==>
Amazon Amazon

that’s what I needed to hear to know not getting those is the right move. I’ll check those out too! Right now I’m leaning toward Sealight or auxito. Appreciate the reply!

Can't say for 2019, but Sealights have been fine in my 2015 since about 2018.

I had Auxito led fog light bulbs for about a year and 1 crapped the bed, so I replaced them with Sealight bulbs. No issues so far. I don't care what led bulb you use in the halogen housings, its not going to remotely compare to projector lights, like the Morimoto XB or XB Hybrids. They make a huge difference.
