Default Automatically locking doors when parked?

Hello,
I just traded in my 2013 on a 2015 Loaded F150. It has the keyless FOB that I just leave in my pocket when I start/stop the truck.

Is there any way I can set the vehicle to automatically lock the doors when I get out of the truck? I find I always forget to lock the doors as the key FOB never really touches my hand. I want to to just default to locked at all times as I can either use the FOB or keypad on the drivers side door to unlock the truck.

I'm curious about this too. Bought my truck on Saturday and haven't completely searched through the active threads yet to find this. I know the mirrors can't auto-fold, but maybe someone will be nice and chime in that knows.

I don't think so... I just get out and hit 7/9 on the keypad and walk away..

Only time I take the FOB out of my pocket is when the panic alarm goes off from something in my pocket pushing the button..

If you don't keep a spare FOB in the truck you can just touch the black button on the outside of the outside door handle to lock the truck from what I have read in the manual.

On my 2016 KR I just touch the outside door handle on the little black square when I get out of the truck and it locks. No need to take the fob out to lock or unlock . Grab the inside of the handle and it unlocks.

So far, the easiest way to lock the doors is simply by touching the black portion of the door handle when the key fob is in your pocket. It's our responsibility to lock our property same as you lock your main door in your house.

That's one of the features I miss since I switched from a KR to a XLT. That auto lock/unlock with the door handle. It sucks when you're washing the truck because they constantly lock/unlock but aside from that, it's a really underrated feature. At least for me. Between keyless entry and push button start I rarely ever looked at the FOB. Now I'm slumming it with an actual key!

Agree with everyone else, just press the little black square.

I believe it's in the advanced settings, that I selected enable auto lock. I keep meaning to verify it works but never think about it when I have time to spare.... Errr maybe I just never have time to spare. On my Platinum it was there and I know at home I walk away without locking it. When I return the fob is always in my pocket and when I grab the handle it opens so I need to purposely leave it unlocked and return later without the fob to verify I functions. So far I've just trusted that it works.

Doesn't the truck have to go over 13 mph before the auto lock locks the doors?
