Interesting conversation. For me it would be one more thing to remember when driving my wife’s car. I’d walk away and leave it open. I usually press the bottom two switches on the pad. Seems easy enough *and* I have a audible confirmation it is locked. Even if it auto locked, I’d be double checking.

As far as strangers getting along on a forum, well that isn’t going to happen. I’ve posted on a baseball fan site for 17 years and have been an Admin there for the past 12. I’ve watched about every possible thing happen except everyone getting along. Someone is paying the bill 💸 and they have earned the right to decide what gets posted. I’ve never understood why folks don’t just move on if they are unhappy.
