2 times now on my 2018 it has killed the motor while in motion. Anyone else?

Your problem is not with that function if you are in gear and moving.

Not sure what your build date is but it seems this TSB may apply. I had several 2018 F150s w/5.0L with a similar complaint. Turns out it had nothing to do with auto stop/start. This fixed the problem.

 

They finally did the update after I took it in for multiple misfire codes. Hope it works. The mechanic said ford and gm are having lots of issues with the 10 speed

 

That is a load of crap.

 

The misfires have been happened last month and then yesterday. They initially said it was plug issues and that ford was out of stock. The yesterday they said it wasn't plugs and have started doing updates. The mechanic said ford doesn't tell them what they change in the update so he claims to not know for sure
