Default Auto start stop issue.

Has anyone ever had an issue with it ?
Mine never comes on (not that I care but wondering if there's an a bigger issue with something else) ..know matter what the weather is or conditions it never comes on when I come to a stop.
Batteries been check and is fine all the screen says is "charging".

Thanks

When the screen tells you the system is charging the battery, there is an issue regardless of any Battery testing that has been done.
The system voltage is detected as too low. That is the basis of the problem.
Is it a battery that has lost capacity and >not recover< fast enough?
Are your drive cycles too short to allow the battery to recover from starting too often in a short time interval, and not driving enough to recover the battery state of charge?
.
There are a lot of parts to the Auto stop/start function.
The Transmission has an electric pump to provide fluid to operate the Transmission shift functions for quick drive off.
Power the fuel pump, power the engine control system, power the electric power steering plus crank the engine over and more.

I agree, sounds like the battery. Can you put it on a battery charger. What year truck?is battery original? Many before you have same symptoms / complaint, most always is the battery, even though Autozone said it was ok.

Exactly how long is never and what year is your truck? Bluegrass pretty much summed it up but I would suggest using a smart charger tender periodically to max out the state of charge. Battery maintenance and awareness of the built in management system is a good thing to know and to have on hand a good Fluke Multimeter, NOCO or CTEK charger and perhaps a NOCO jump pac just in case. Using my CTEK charger periodically has kept my original 2019 AGM battery up in the 12.7 volt range. I'll take voltage readings while my truck is asleep, checking the oil at the same time. I use my charger maybe once every 3 to 4 months. My drive cycles... I make point to drive at least 10 miles with a minimum engine run time of 30 to 45 minutes. None of this I do for the Auto SS. It remains off fulltime anyway because I've installed the eliminator. I do this mostly for the health of longevity of the battery.

It's a 2016 with 2.7 liter that I've owned for over 2 1/2 years now and had new battery installed when I purchased it, It's never lost charge that I know of.
I've driven it for hrs with same result, trucks going in for suspension issue to Ford so I guess I'll have them look at it and maybe it's just the battery.

Thanks all for good information and I'll let y'all know results.

Battery was the problem as y'all stated.
Dealer tested battery and it was fine but Stop/start needs to have at least 80% power storage but upon testing even though my battery was "good" it could only hold.....78% 😂. Story of my life ..day late dollar short.
New battery solved problem.

Thanks all
