This is a common issue because Ford writes this for some reason on the ETIS site for our build data. Mine is incorrectly reported as not having locking rear end also on the ETIS site. Since AsBuilt Hacker program pulls from there, this explains why it shows the same in the program. Hats off to flsdiver for developing this great tool and I was happy to beta test prior to roll out!

I may not fully understand this software but can clearly see the hard work that went into making it work. Thanks flsdiver, keep up the good work!

Thanks for helping out with that, i know you are very busy with discovering all of these module settings, so appreciate you taking the time. I did incorporate some of your feedback.

It is the same etis data for options and the as build data for as built from internet (ford), used together.

What livinitup says is true about ETIS data. If you don't like it, go to the data folder/<VIN> and edit the etis text file, put in correct locking diff. If it finds this file, it uses it and never looks to internet again. this way the program can save the option lines added to line things up, and remembers those changes on subsequent launches.

I am noticing the bottom of characters are being cut off in the data fields. The address fields are displaying properly. IE the bottom of the "E" is being cropped and it looks like an 'F". Similar to a spreadsheet field that is shorter than the characters inside it. Anybody else notice this?

Resolution 1920 x 1080 Had fonts set to 125%. Setting them to 100% fixed it.

Default AsBuiltHacker is hanging !

First, thank you for the effort. I watched the video and it looks very promising. I did a "Save All" for each module BEFORE any changes and got a bunch of ABT files. I put them into the folder of my VIN. The application now hangs (blue circle spinning around) when I click "Module Compare". I can only shut down the app with Task Manager. Tonight I made another complete set but now these .ABT contain the many changes I made with forscan. I put these ABT files into VIN folder and it still hangs. When I click on the VIN, it does show me what appears to be complete comparison (the modifications tab is populated) but it shows (5) unknowns.

Unknown 726-37-01

When I click on the VIN, it does drop me into the compare screen.

As a test, I created another VIN by changing the last character of my true VIN. This should be serial # thus insignificant for this tool. I thought I would put my original ABT files under that VIN and my changed ABT files under my true VIN to support a comparison. That takes ETIS out of equation. Turns out this does not hang program but does not display any info at all when I click on VIN.

I find it interesting that ETIS does not accurately reflect my vehicle (based on the capture of ABT files before any Forscan changes. As such, to accurately compare whats different, I need to compare my originals to current; and not the ETIS settings.

Thoughts ?

1st thought is, the program downloads the as built and the etis options from the web. Putting the abt files from modified modules in the vin directory and opening the vin will show changes from AsBuilt web and forscan abt as light blue. The unknown would mean the knownoptions file in data fir does not have an entry in it for that change work in progress). Make sure the model names knownoption file exist in your data dir...if you changed for, copy it.

The blank on VIN with1 number is probably correct because there is no real vin as built on web for that serial (diff engine or other body type) for that serial.

Comparing 1 VIN to 1 vin doesn't make much use to me....but should not hang. Easy way for me to debug fast is if you pm me your vin and I can replicate issue...I can fix. Also program or data folder may contain Elmah error log dump that will point me to the exact issue...mail those to flsdiver gmail if you like to help me find issue.

Hello community,

many thanks for the "AsBuilt Hacker Windows Software" program. I am from Germany and i use it for another (my) vehicle Ford Galaxy 2015.

I have updated the "ModuleNameList.xml" with addresses for the modules and i want to share the file with you.

Enjoy.

Edit: Through one typing error in ModuleNameList.xml the 'AsBuilt Hacker Windows Software' could not read file.

Here is the correct file: ModuleNameList.xml

Sorry for this. Enjoy now.
