so i recently installed the Anzo tail light light bar and connected it to the back plug where the license plate is and it works just fine BUT, every time i start up my truck i get the message "towing mode activated" as if i was towing something,
was there somewhere else i was supposed to connect it?

you will also find you back up sensors don't work as well. You have to hard wire it to the tail lights.
