P25B0 - Fuel Level Sensor-A Stuck

Description:
Sets when the PCM determines the value of the fuel level input signal is stuck, that the fuel level input signal does not change or does not correspond with the calculated fuel usage.

Possible Causes:
  • Wiring, terminals, or connectors
  • Fuel pump assembly
  • Fuel level sender (float and card)
  • Fuel tank
  • IPC
This DTC should not occur when the truck is just started as it requires some time to expire and some fuel to be consumed before it can be set. Sudden electrical issues are often the result of a low voltage during engine crank causing some modules not to boot up properly. Your sudden lack of FCIM and GPS functions is consistent with low battery performance.

Has the truck been parked for a period of time? New batteries can fail, especially these days when many come from China or Mexico. Have you tested the battery? Was it really cold? When its really cold, like now, my truck will change IPC display on start-up and other little things might occur.

Did your wife shut the truck off, restart it, then experience the same issues?

yes it did happen right at startup when she was trying to leave the store so everything was warmed up. she did shut it off for 30 seconds and started it up and same thing. She said it cranked very good both times.
The truck gets used everyday and I haven’t checked the battery yet. It was around 9 degrees this morning.
I did just have the truck in the shop getting a new block heater installed 3 days earlier

Who knows what the shop did with your truck while in their shop. I'm not suggesting they did anything malicious, but they could have run the battery down. I would charge the battery up overnight, clear the DTCs, and then try a restart.

I hear ya man, I don’t bring my car in often at all, they always mess something up. Yesterday for instance, my truck leaked coolant all over the driveway I popped the hood and they overfilled the coolant reservoir! Hopefully, it didn’t get all in my alternator or something weird
