Another wheel well thread
Hi everyone,
After detailing the truck over the weekend, I’ve decided I’m not happy with the look of my wheel wells. Some people choose the inserts, but I’d like to hear your thoughts on a spray liner (or even paint for that matter). It just looks so unfinished at the moment.
Thanks in advance!

I thought about doing the bedliner in the wheel wells when I had the bed sprayed. Ultimately though, it doesn't cover like a wheel well liner does, to hide the gap between the frame and bed. I installed a set of Husky liners and have never thought about them again, other than to know that it's protected and looks great. It's also way easier and cheaper to do the liners than to do paint or bedliner. YMMV, but I know what I chose and don't regret it for a second. Cheaper, easier, better looking, and better protected as well. No brainer for me and most other people.

I also recommend the Husky liners. I installed them on my truck and was so impressed that I bought a set for my son as a birthday present.
They were easy to install and cover/protect the whole wheel well area.

I’m just hesitant to pull the trigger on liners. Much like loose bed liners, I’ve seen several wheel well liners on the interstate over the years. They do look good, but I need more convincing.

I sprayed rattle-can undercoating on my inner fender wells. With a black truck, it doesn't make that much of an appearance change, but I also did it on my last F150 (not black!) and I liked the look much better.

Trust me the huskys will never ever fall out!!! I have a set and love them--My 19 came with fords liners installed and Im ripping those out and installing my Huskys from my 18. The ford liners do not cover enough area
