Tire question help

i have a 2016 xlt with the crash bars. Will 285 70 18 fit with no lift or level at or mt tires

I believe that is too big. You might try 285/65R18.
I just put 275/70R17 on my '16 XLT and that was the max which is = 32.2".
If you don't off road or anything you might be able to get away with it.

Any wheel/tire combo larger than the stock 32's will most likely need some sort of lift/level to ensure no rubbing. The front wheels are set back into the wells a fair amount.
