Default Another leveling kit thread... 😬

Ayo guys! So I’ve been doing my research and looking to see what I should slap on my 2019 XLT 2WD. I want a leveling kit to run 33s as I not interested in running anything larger. I originally have ordered a Motofab 2.5in kit that’s just the strut spacers, but I started leaning more towards getting the rear shocks replaced as well as I heard it vastly improves the ride, so if I’m gonna do the rears might as well do the struts too.

Ive seen people throw out the Bilstein kit as the holy grail, but I just wanted to gather input on other brands before I bite the bullet. I came across
Eibach’s kit Eibach’s kit
and
Rough Country’s kit Rough Country’s kit
. Any input or recommendations would be great! Thanks in advance!

I put a spacer in mine and regretted it as the ride was no better at all, after 8 months went the Bilstein route and went from 2" to 2.1" of lift with better ride quality and the ability to readjust if I decide to. Looked at the Rough Country set up but they did not have matching shocks for the rear. Eibach's way to expensive...or so I thought. Already contemplating on moving to the Bilstein 6112 in the front and the 2160 in the rear. I do not off-road but do occasional leave the beaten path. We have a lot of rough roads here in my area and unless I have a couple hundred pounds in the back will experience an unpleasant hop from time to time.

I think a coil over kit would be much better than pre-loading the front springs to get more lift in the front as the coils are the right length and have the proper tension for the lift.

2017 RWD with 2.5" Motofab level, rear OEM 4x4 blocks with bilstein rear shocks. Wheels are 20x9.5" with +6 offset and tires are 275/60/20 (33.1") Falken Wildpeak AT3. Rides every bit as good as stock.

I went with the Roush leveling kit, which was done at the dealership. Wheels are 20x9x+20 with factory tires.

2018 Platinum 2WD, leveled with Bilstein 5100 on all corners (1.76 setting on front), 33" tires.

25% tint on front, 35% tint on rear.

Bilstein 5100s on all corners

well, if i was concerned about "ride quality" id stay away from the spacers, as they will just compress the spring more, same thing with the Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks.

I am the one in the million who dont like the Bilstein 5100's, i have them on the front and rear. My ride got more responsive but i think its horrible, i wont elaborate cause its beating a dead horse, there is a post about it somewhere, lol.

Ive talked to Stage 3 and a few members on here and I think if you want a level AND increase your ride quality, youd have to go with the Bilstein 6200 (or 6100) or whatever...i am saving my pennies to buy the Fox 2.0 kit.

I'm looking at getting the Bilstein 5100 leveling kit (front). I have a 2015 2wd Sport (no blocks). Does having the OEM blocks on your 2wd cause any rake with your 2.5" level in the front? Or is it pretty level? I'm sitting about exactly 2 inches higher in my rear and would like the Bilsteins on the 2.1" setting. I'm not sure if I would need blocks or not...any advice?

Thanks for the reply! Your truck looks awesome. Are the oem blocks 1.5"?
