Default Another Dash warp question.

So I know this topic has been beaten to death, but I figured I would ask anyway since I feel like I have not gotten a conclusive answer.

I know XLT models and believe for certain had and have this issue.

The question is were Lariat models also affected. I’m pretty sure every trim level I’ve seen had the issue.

I’m tempted to purchase a 2020 Lariat only thing holding me back is that ridiculous dash issue.

Anyway any help would be appreciated. There is a truck out there I’m looking at but it’s a few hours away so not sure it’s worth the trip because of the dash issue.

As far as I remember, there were some Lariats warping but not many. Just to let you know, Mine sits in the garage with 300 miles (bought it in July 2019) and it's warped on both sides. Doesn't bother me enough to worry though. It will never be fixed until they redo the whole dash.

Yeah, it's one of these issues that had we not read about it on on the forum, we probably never would have noticed it. I wouldn't let it stop you from buying a truck.

My 2018 Lariet has had no problems, not garaged, sits outside all of the time.

I believe Lariats do not have this issue, as there is something different in their dash construction. Only XL and XLT trim levels have this issue.

Heard rumor a few Lariats had this, but the Lariat models have a leather dash so it is different. I had it in my 2015 xlt but ot in the 19 Lariat, but again different dashes.

Neither my XL or Lariat have dash warp. Both sit outside 24/7.

Lariats do not have a leather dash.

Leather/pleather/vinyl, etc. They have a soft touch stitched dash covering vs the XLT/XL dash
