Default Another Bilsten 5100 thread

O.K. got a '19 F150 5.0 4x4 and am fixing to install height adjustable 5100s on the front and 5100s in the rear. The truck sits about 2.75" higher in the back measured from wheel arches. The shocks have 5 groves about 3/8" apart total top to bottom about 1.5". Which groove to get it closest to level?

Read most/all the threads on doing the install and plan to do it myself and either get the strut compressors from O'Riely or pay someone just to do the struts.

I have the Eibach level shocks set at 1.4" lift, rear is about an inch higher. I think if you set them at the highest, 2.1" you'll either be at level or maybe just slightly higher in the rear.

2.1" will be closest to level.

Even the stock rake doesn't bother me. I was after the Bilstein shocks and the ride height adjustment was a little bonus.

Just ordered 5100's for all for corners. Going on this coming Friday. Looking for opinions on 1.75 and 2.1 settings. Currently have RC 2" spacer pucks and like the ride and would like to keep it at least close, heard the 2.1 stiffens the ride but by how much?

The ride is hardly changed. Initially the ride will seem firmer but after 500 miles, the truck will be smooth as butter.
