It is a totally different screen when I'm plugged in but none of my apps come up on the screen. But it's nothing like when my friend plugged in his iphone. He had all sorts of apps from his phone show up on the screen. I'm pretty sure I've tried both USB plug in's but I'll make a point of trying both. I read 1 post somewhere else that says that android has a limited number of bluetooth ports so you can only have a limited number of apps on your phone in order for them to show up on Android Auto. Said you had to disable all the apps that you don't need to show up on screen. That sounds like it makes Android auto pretty useless if true

It sounds like Android Auto is working. Most of your apps won't show up as they aren't supported. Most music/audio apps and navigation apps will show up along with some utility apps. No games or video players will be there.

OK, that kinda sucks. I guess Apple CarPlay is way better than Android Auto
