Default Android Auto Maps

Hi I have new 2019 F150 and when I have my phone hooked up and using Google Maps or Waze it seems like the GPS is off. The map will spin and sometimes will go onto a different street.
It only seems to happen in the F150, in all my other cars with Android Auto it is fine.
I have tried different cords, moving the phone in different areas and it still happens.
I have factory NAV and that works fine.
Anyone else come across this, any ideas as to why and how to fix? Thanks

Do you know someone else that uses AA. If so have them try it in your truck to see if it does the same thing. If so it is on the Truck side if not then it is on the phone side. Yes I know you use it in other cars, but this will make it easier to get service if needed.

Mine does the same thing.

I just upgraded to Sync 3, haven't gotten to try it yet since doing so but I figure it'll probably be the same.

I believe AA is going to come out with an update soon, maybe that will help.

I had that happen after an update over a year ago and had to uninstall android auto on my phone then reinstall it. All worked good after
Only other issue was after a beta update to waze and the GPS went nuts and jumped all over the place. Actually showed me driving down the middle of the Mississippi River. Google maps still worked perfect. I had to remove Waze and installed new update later. Worked perfect.

I have a 2019 as well, mine does it too. My phone is a pixel 3 xl. I have not had any updates to sync or anything. My phone comes with android auto, I’m not sure uninstalling and reinstalling is worth it, as the app is fully updated

It doesnt matter that's it fully updated. Sometimes something goes wrong or gets corrupted. When this happens the only fix is to uninstall and then reinstall.
