It`s not officially released from Ford yet to be upgraded via WiFi so you`ll have to go online and find the unofficial update, download it onto a USB stick, and then download it through the USB port in your truck.

Right now, it`s only official for Lincoln vehicles.

Your settings for auto updates are correct so you can do like me and many others which is to just keep waiting for the official release from Ford and maybe it`ll download automatically when it`s available and officially released from Ford.

Hope this helps.

And all of this nonsense about ford not releasing it is weird because I've been in several 2017 f150s that are running 2.2, along with some explorers and I think the escapes as well. I keep forgetting to take my USB cable with me to check for full functionality in all of them, but if they have the software finalized for new trucks, make it available for the 16s!

The '16s that have v1.0 don't have the newer USB hub that allows for apple's carplay. Why Ford can't just release the update for the better service that already works fine nobody knows.

Update, no change with changing the setting on the phone.
Swapped for another OE Samsung cable I had in the housed. Problem fixed ( I think ), completely stable on the drive in this morning.
