I have the exact same issue. Happened with my S5, and now my S7 Edge. Hopefully, the Android Auto and associated updates will rectify it.

Just wondering if Ford has released anything about the date for AA update to Sync3 other than 'late summer'?

Has there been any updates? I have a 2016 F150 purchased in June, with out of date maps and minimal apps. I would love to have AA working on it.
