Has no place and I never buy new model vehicles. Too many problems in the first year to deal with. But the quality of the Nissan was amazing and I hated to get rid of it. I love my new F150... comfortable, seems well built, awesome moonroof and gadgets. I do find myself constantly hoping it's as reliable as my Titan, though. My only prior experiences were older Rangers and they all had quality issues. Only time will tell.
How's the fuel economy compare between the Titan and F150? If I was buying a truck 3 years ago I would have went with a Titan since a lot of parts are shared with the Frontier, but I'm not sure I could live with the 14mpg I hear a lot of guys get with the Titan.

The thread has clearly already been sidetracked. I asked the OP about his Titan he mentioned.

Titan was not kind on fuel. They are heavy trucks. I had a 2wd crew cab. Averaged around 15-16 mixed driving, 18 on hwy. engine had nice growl, great power and smooth transmission. I'll never have a bad thing to say about it. It was a great truck. Like I said, I could not be happier with my F150. This time, I got the two things I wanted out of the old truck but never had: sunroof and 4x4. Probably would have looked at another Nissan this time around, but the new Titan is just lost in the middle of everything.

Not sure of the reasoning, and I know it sounds minor, but I listen to Pandora constantly and it drives me crazy. Also would be great to have Google Maps navigation on my screen.
I have the same issue with the Spotify app. When I first got the truck it worked flawless - Turn truck off, go into store, turn it back on and it connected right back up. Now I usually have to kill the task on my phone in order for it to start working again. I've reset Sync 3 and my phone to factory but still have the issue. Maybe it was an android/Spotify update that caused it?

Regardless, I'm really hoping the Sync 3 update will fix the bugs with applink, on top of bringing AA capability.

Toyota trucks haven't had any widespread problems recently that I'm aware of. I'm a Toyota guy myself but like the other member mentioned, the tundra is severely outdated and the F150 is by far the best truck at the moment.

If I have to wait to buy a 2017 so be it, but I understand guys that already have a 2016 and have been told certain things by Ford.

If Ford doesn't get this working right until a 2017 (or later) model year, I'm almost hoping Nissan or Toyota will update their 1/2 tons with engine choices that get decent mileage by then. It's really hard for me to go back to an "American" vehicle after 10 years of owning Japanese trucks/cars, but the F150 is clearly the best 1/2 ton on the market right now.
Can't you get Google maps on iPhone?

Hey MNSportsman,

There were reports about the latest update to Spotify causing some changes in the functionality with SYNC. It is best to contact them directly for information on a resolution. Also, the Android Auto feature will be released in an update for our 2016 vehicles with SYNC 3 coming later this year.

I have it on my phone, but from what I understand you can't port Google Maps to the screen in your truck using Carplay. Carplay only supports Apple Maps. I've been burned way too many times to use Apple Maps anymore.

I believe this is correct. And just reason #1,239,284 to upgrade to an Android phone!

I might go back with my next phone. I liked all my Androids a lot better, I just got tired of them running like crap and terrible battery life after 12-18 months. My iPhone 5s is going on 2 years and still runs like new and the battery still lasts a full day. It just can't do everything that the Androids did.
