AFE or S&B
3.5 eco
Trying to decide witch one to get.
AFE stage 2 looks like has more flow but has open filters to engine heat
S&B has completely close air box but looks like it maybe lacking in the piping
I know lots will say it's a worthless mod, but it's the start to my engine mods. Also I personally love the extra sound it produces

OP, I've been looking at the S&B myself for a while, looks like a good unit.
I run the AFE on a 2.7 not 3.5. I like the additional noise i get from it. With the enclosed ones they don't produce the additional noise AFE one does. AFE sells a cover to enclose it making less noise. However i feel that it is rather enclosed with the hood at least coming close sealing it. As with all intakes out there i wouldn't consider it getting HP gains but seat of my pant's I feel I have better throttle response although it could be because i hear the throttle response. The AFE momentum is enclosed as another option. This is pretty close to real world noise the stage 2 provides.

Yes on a 3.5. I actually just ordered it yesterday, so haven’t received it yet. Will let you know when I install. All the reviews say it’s a good unit.

Please do. I'm sure the OP and others would like to know. I'm all for some turbowhine. I don't think much but sound and looks is to be had on these gassers though.
