Default Remote start from ebay

So, I bought this
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-2018-F...72.m2749.l2649

I traded in my 2015 XLT 5.0 for a 2018 XL 5.0 with sport package (yes, the 10 speed is fantastic)... and as it turns out I am missing a few options I struggle to live without.
And because NY weather was just terrible for a little while... It was just as easy to install as described and works great. It took me less than 5 minutes.
I really expected to have wasted $

However, how can I eliminate the beeping when I lock the car?
Bouncing through the settings I could not find "Beep on Lock" or something similar.
Advice?

Next upgrade for me is probably a 6" lift.... anyone use stock wheels for 35" tires?
I am thinking I may power coat my current wheels to save a buck...
Thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Most people use Forscan to eliminate the double-horn honk.

I actually just installed one of those last night, bought from a different seller though. Works great. As for the honk, as E. Manuel said, FORScan is your answer, it's not a regular setting in the cluster. With your new truck being an XL, I'm guessing it is a key ignition, not push button. "Double Horn" as above is a different thing, and only exists on push-button trucks. If you dive into FORScan to solve this, it's called Feedback Horn, I think. I made the same mistake lol, went looking to disable double honk, and it already had the disabled code.

installed an almost identical unit this Saturday on my '16 XLT key-start.

Used Forscan to turn off the Lock-horn. It's listed at the bottom of the common mod spreadsheet. There's 2 changes listed, I did them both and everything works great. I have the remote start options in the dash and no horn honking at me when I hit Lock X 3

Just ordered one of these for my key start 2017XL. Looking forward to getting into a warm truck at 4.30am.

If anyone is looking, 12v solutions now makes one that you don't have to use forscan to disable. It uses the Lock, unlock, lock buttons to start the vehicle. It's plug and play. They sell them on ebay for $199 shipped.

What all do you need to use forscan? I read a general guide that explained PC, osx and Android versions but I'm not sure of the hardware required.

I have a 2018 XL and want to install things like remote start/alarm, door lock/unlock and maybe even window motors someday in the future.
