I added this one and it work with my buttons on the wheel. And I put the antenna under the front window out of site outside the truck.
This worked right with your 4.2 inch stock stereo that didn't come with xm? How do you activate xm?

You go to the website and pay for the activate with the info on the SXV300 SiriusXM tuner.

I didn't knowing you adding something unlocks xm on stereo. So does the sun plug into the outter dash or is there a USB input behind the stereo to keep a clean look?

This is strange, I thought the sport package came with the big screen stereo? At least mine did anyways, and with Sirius XM with a 6-month free sub. I've continued my sub since my last vehicle had XM as well, and they carried it over to my truck after the free 6 months expired. Maybe the sport package is different in Canada?

I have an xl sport. I believe the xlt sport comes standard with it. All this talk about giving it away I'm still waiting lol. My truck has 800 miles on it I'll swap stereos. I have all the features but xm. I travel across the country So it's nice to have a lot of music as an option for me the 55+ hour road trips get really boring.

Removing the antenna would leave a hole in my roof. I use iheart auto and Bluetooth.

Quoting myself, I stand corrected. I just checked and the bigger stereo came with the 302A package, not the sport package.
