I have a question about adding power telescope extended tow mirrors to a Lariat that doesn't have them. Is it plug and play if power telescoping tow mirrors are added? Or does it still have the different plug and need wiring changes etc?

I tried to search but the forum search on this site like any other forum I have been on is not easily navigated...for me anyway!

Everyone should know that
1. they have spotlight
2. they have puddle light
3. They have running lights
4. they have heated glass on both panels top/bottom
5. they have blinkers and passenger mirror is magnified
5. Only drivers mirror auto dims at night
you need a new door harness, module, switch and programming with ForScan.
Here’s the confirmation photos from my tear apart.
I know some of you will appreciate this because there has been a lot of back and fourth across forums saying that they don’t come with these features built in and even ford doesn’t advertise these additional features and being present.
For 600$ you get all the features minus power telescoping and fold.
PINOUT
red/black =ground
red= spotlights
blue/black = blinker
brown/white = running lights
last two photos have the corresponding pins on the harness marked in dark ink. I don’t know the PIN numbers as they aren’t identifying on the harness.
The other photos show the different LED diodes one the board for spot, blinker and running.

I was wondering if you'd be interested in selling the connector and pigtail off of the mirror light that you have. The one that you're using to test it with hooked to the power supply. The connector has the number: 1-1718645-1 on it. I am looking for the connector and pigtail to replace the one on my truck because my marker light was broke for awhile and water got into the light and corroded the connector. Please let me know if you'd be interested in selling the connector and pigtail. Thanks in advance.

If he doesn't want to sell, you can buy that connector by itself from mouser. https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...3vnxx5Aw%3D%3D

I might consider that if he doesn't want to sell the one that he has with the pigtail. I really would like to find one with the pigtail already on it to make it easier. Thanks for the help.

Well, that stinks. I really was hoping you still had the connector. I guess I will have to find another way to get the connector. Thanks for the quick reply!

Added aftermarket Tow Mirrors, wanted the heated mirrors and if I was changing the mirrors, go big, right?
$220/pr plus tax off Amazon. 8 pin units. Power and turn signals work, unable to test the heat. So far I love the huge convex sections. Keeping very aware of the extra 5” on each side of the truck. My Explorer lost a mirror on a tight street when a jack wad took their half out of the middle and my wife clipped another backing into our garage (that we NEVER do!). No vibrations noted. Had standard power mirrors, no extra features. The smoked signal mirrors were another $30-40.
