Vibration comments are the biggest problem I have heard about with other than OEM mirrors. I did like that the signal lights blink in the front of the mirrors in the video (not so on the OEM models for XLT, just on the side). My OEMs are still rock solid after a year-and-a-half of driving. However those in the video look pretty good and are a heck of a lot cheaper. Good luck with your mirrors.

Default Does Bliss work on the tow morrors?

If I add the oem tow mirrors, do they include Bliss. I bought some clip on mirrors from etrailer, they seem okay for the occasional towing my tt. Bliss, puddle and blinker indicators all work. They do cover weird “spotlights”

Ok so after getting to do some highway driving I can report that shaking/vibrating is minimal at most! HOWEVER... anything above 35mph and there is a slight whistle coming from the mirrors. This could be from a number of things so as time goes on I'll put some blue painter's tape over different parts of the mirrors to try and figure out where it is coming from and what if anything can be done

You can buy the mirrors with Bliss included (I think I came across them several times when I was looking for my mirrors). They are more expensive. I would go to my dealer and price them, then I would use the part number to see if I could find a better price.

Pull the mirrors off and silicone all the edges where the parts meet inside the mirror in the area it attaches to the truck. There is a thread on here that's showing exactly what he did to stop the wind noise very easy to do. Here is a link to his video on how to fix the issue.

Default Part number

Just want to make certain I am understanding this correctly, I have a 2018 XLT, I have added the OEM tow mirrors with all of the built in lighting features, however the truck has the 8 pin, with the supplied 22 pin adapter. I have added the spot light controls (drivers vent) and the module, for future use of course. In several of these posts about the functionality of the mirrors, they all tend to say that the door modules need to also be changed out. You are the first to say just change the harness. This is what I was thinking myself, especially when you go into Forscan and all of the options to turn these features on and off are already built into the existing modules.
So if I purchase a 2019 Lariat harnesses I should be good to go? Do you still have the part numbers for the harnesses that worked?

This is the route I went and couldn't be happier.
Damn!! I just looked them up and they're $981.00 / EA on sale from $1500.00 / EA!! I don't understand why these are not standard equipment on a max tow package with the HDPP. Makes little sense to me. As much as I want them, I'm not dropping $2K on them.
