Default Adding something to an ordered f150

I am on the fence about wanting the power running boards or the regular running boards.
Truck has been ordered for 2 weeks. Anyone know if I can add them or is it to late?
Anyone have problems with the power running boards?

Thanks

I know the regular ones help prevent dings on my door and side of truck where they are. Dings from people flinging their doors open in parking lots.

Don't wait much longer if you want to add to your order. My salesman told me to contact him if I thought of something to change with the order, but by the time I contacted him, it was too late. Production had already started. That was at the 4 or 5 week mark after my order, though.

If I remember correctly, once the VIN is generated for a vehicle you can't change the order.

I have a friend that has them on a 2017 Platinum, he says they have started malfunctioning. They will come out part way and then retract.

Power running boards are an expensive and potential point of failure for a problem no one has.
