Adding Reverse Sensors/Alarm
I have a 2016 XLT with the 301a package. One accessory it did not have that I wanted was the Reverse/Rear sensors. I do have the rear camera and trailor back up assist.
Has anyone here added this ? If so, where did you get it ?

Youd need the 4 sensors, the 2 replacement bumper panels, with the sensor cutouts, wiring harness, and the speaker if it uses one. Then probably use Forscan to enable the feature.
I would check with user "Livnitup" and see if enabling reverse sensing via Forscan is possible. I would think in terms of quality, OEM would be your best. I would think in terms of cost, OEM would be your worst.
There are a lot of aftermarket models available, but I'm still afraid of drilling holes in my bumper and ending up with reverse sensors that don't work after one good rain.
Keep us posted with what you go with; if it works well and doesn't break the bank, I may follow suit.

I wanted to do the same thing on my parent's new Focus so I called the dealership and had them install the reverse sensing system. It functions different then the OEM in my F150, as it uses either the left rear speaker or a completely separate speaker unit installed behind the back seat. The frequency (speed) of the audible beeping as you approach something is different then the F150 also, but if you weren't comparing you would get used to it.
I will look for the paperwork to see if I can determine if the kit is the "official" Rosen Ford accessory (I presume that it is). If memory serves it ran me about $ 450 CDN. My only peeve is they didn't paint the sensors to match the bumper, even though the vehicle was in having the bumper repainted at the time....

I have a 2016 XL. I was told by the dealership that adding the 4 sensors would be $599, seemed a bit steep to me. I was trying to find out if there was a less expensive way to add the OEM ones but haven't had any luck so far.
I would make sure that they are OEM and not aftermarket. My father-in-law had a local shop add aftermarket backup sensors to his Chevy and they are anything but accurate. To the point that he just ignores it because of how inaccurate they are.

Pros: the front sensors are great for avoiding leaving the truck “*** out” because I didn’t pull up close enough to the wall in my parking garage. The back sensors are a great pedestrian warning system.
Cons: the backs are not integrated to the lines in the back up camera and would not be “good enough “ without the camera system.
I had aftermarket sensors front/rear (sorry, I can’t remember the brand) install by a local installer (he also did remote start) on my 2016 XLT.
