I want to say it was 220 ish, but I don't remember the exact amount. Look around for the running boards. I paid 400 for mine. So around 650 total with boards and wiring, which is a heck of a lot cheaper than power steps. I had to pay tax on the components. Ask for the best price. They'll negotiate. I told them I was looking for replacements because I was swapping them over from a different truck.

Another is accessibility when I choose to lift it to 4 or 6in.

Lastly, is aesthetics.
Over just buying amp steps was the comparison.

I would imagine cost would be a driver. If you can find takeoff factory steps and get the wiring for substantially less than the amp setup...

Got them to work today! Wife said she got a package, I was expecting it to come by Tuesday next week.. set everything up, and WD-40'd it and it seemed to be working great! Big thanks to 2k12 for the straightforward wire to wire connection..

One thing I found is that you don't have to splice the wires. You can use the female wiring socket of the Amp harness into the bottom part of the OE male plug, by just removing the green rubber sealing of the female plug.

19-04280-STA replaces the 19-03297-A06 controller - $92.00 19-04064-90 OBDII plug - $99.65 USD.
19-04048-90L wiring harness - $117.60 USD
light kit 75144-01A - $78.14 USD.

Did you use any particular instructions to install the steps?

Where does the controller mount or live?

Did you wire up any sort of override switch?

Thanks
