Default Adding a front camera to 2018 XLT

I have a 2018 XLT 302a Screw on order and would like to add the front camera to it. I know the camera is in the grille emblem. Have seen a couple threads on adding a front camera but not to a 2018 and camera source doesn't list it yet. Any ideas?

it's not just "bought a lariat". Its bought a lariat with the 502a package which is significantly more than an XLT.

I bought a Lariat and really like the front camera! Use it all the time when parking in garage.
I especially like that when you push the windshield washer fluid switch there is a little panel that opens and washes the front camera too!

Wish the back one had one too...but too far from reservoir I guess.

I'm working on this Project with Ryan B. Adding 360 cams to an 18 302A xlt truck. Still waiting on parts from ford to get started on it. Will be doing my power fold mirrors either today or tomorrow and adding BLIS. That much will be done, I have the camera harness and IMPB already - just missing the grille harness for adding the front camera.

Assuming you have nothing like I did, it depends on what you can come up with for deals. You need the tail lights and harness which run about 600 for both. I found a used set of take off powefolds with BLIS for 350. You need to add 4 wires from the left side frame rail for the tail harness, and then run those to the driver side front wheel well. You're also going to need new door modules for both sides and new door harnesses for both sides.

So Lights + harness - 600
Mirrors -350
Both door modules (about 35 each) - + harnesses (about 65-70$ each) about 200-220$ spent here.

Roughly about 1150 is what I spent, But also I'm adding a lot more features too.

If you need PN's for a late 18 swap - they're in my build thread, latest post. https://www.f150forum.com/f78/2018-m...35896/index14/
