GDN - auto what? As reading your post it seems like it senses the temperature and then goes auto warm / cold depending on weather. Is this correct? Or is it say auto 70degrees?

I want to add the remote option. The dealer told me it was included on my car which was wrong.... Due to the incorrect information we agreed to split it. Here is my question which I can't find an answer for. If I install the remote unit so I can start with my phone then does the original one on my key still work? I don't like if the new one comes with a new fob that makes my original autostart not work.

Hope the question makes sense. Thanks!
Yes - if you have true remote start and it was put in at the factory then there are two modules that go in - You will then have full "Remote Access" which is the phone app and Internet access and your original key fob will work just the same as it always has.

Go to this thread and read the last 100 posts or so - the part numbers are listed there for what you'll need or post there and Benny from Levittown Ford will be glad to answer the questions for what you need.

Yes - true remote start - you'll have two options in the dash for what you want the heat/AC to do. One of them is to just come on to the setting you last had it at - the other is Auto - which will let the computer decide what to do based on the outside temperature - either turn on AC or Heat. If you have them it can also turn on the heated/cooled seats and the rear defrost.

I don't have a '15 - so bits of this could be different, but for the most part it all still works the same.

All I can say is that for a dealer install yours is NOT very safe if it will start with the doors or hood open. What happens when you are working on the engine and have your hand in the fan when your kid takes your remote start button and hits the start?
