Also mine are black plastic and not painted so if I do have to order the molding with the hole it looks like they are painted so I may have to figure out how to make it work with mine or order the rear panel too and then eventually the passenger side to match.
Or, if you have to order the d.s. pillar for the keypad. You could just get it wrapped in vinyl, so it'd match the rest.

l27, please keep up posted; I'm curious if there's a plug behind the panel. It's a little cold for me to go pulling on plastic right now tho.

I will. I haven't received shipping notification yet. I also just got the windows tinted so I don't want to pull the door panel off until I can roll the windows down. It sucks that I have to wait because I'm off today and the weather is perfect, 72f, clear skies with 50% humidity and a light breeze.

Ok, I got a little bored and decided to pull the door panel off. Not too much to report there, just watch a youtube video on how to remove it. The one part that held me up was figuring out how to remove the door handle cable. I couldn't figure it out. It didn't prevent me from preforming the task at hand which was to look for a plug. Guess what, it's there, I think. There was a connector with 4 wires going to it with a cap on it.

One can only assume this is it. So when the buttons get here I'll plug it in and try it after figuring out how to enable it in the computer.

Also the wire connector for the mirror appeared to have all the wires populated. So if I want to add turnsignal mirrors or puddle lamps down the road it should be possible. Not sure about the folding mirrors because the wire connector going to the switches had a lot of missing wires. Maybe you can jumper them I'm not sure.

Also on the backup camera. There are only 2 wires going to the tailgate. So an aftermarket solution appears to be the only option.

Edit: I must say I really like the plastic clips and fasteners that hold the cover panels on the door. The metal ones chew the ends of the plastic off so many times and then there isn't anything for the metal clips to hold onto. Plastic seams like a cheaper option but it's actually smarter in this case. The small things...

I27, just be sure to insert all the factory plastic push pins, into theyre proper holes. When routing the new Keypad wiring harness.

I did this when I installed the oem keyless keypad handle, on my 12 xlt. Helps keep the keypad wire harness from getting in the way of the window and motor.

I seen a Reg Cab XLT on the dealer lot that has the keypad. The keypad itself has a shiny black surround, but it was mounted on the non painted black plastic molding. Maybe someone can get us a part number.
