Might as well. I can always sell it for $35 if it doesn't work I suppose. I need to see if the plug is in the door first.

All trucks come with the code.
You must enable either keypad. Either the dealer or Forscan.

I was thinking they just give keycodes to everyone. Just wasn't sure. Thanks for confirming. I saw the wireless one and it sure would be easier than adding the hardwired one. Do you have the same options with the wireless one like you do with the wired one? Like enter the code and press 3-4 or 5-6 to unlock all doors or press 7-8, 9-0 to lock all doors?

So for anyone else wanting to try this, the following is the FORScan change needed in BCM module to enable OEM keypad:
726-37-01 x1xx xxxx xxxx - Keypad Configure enabled
I told OP that I don't know if this is all that is necessary or whether a trip to dealership for them to use IDS to initialize it would be necessary. I have a feeling since they already provide the code it wouldn't need IDS PATS programming and the change to BCM should get it working. I checked OP's VIN & BCM as-built value and his value at the above address is currently set at disabled (726-37-01 x0xx xxxx xxxx)
Also, the "x's" above mean to ignore whatever you have in the position of the x's and just change the non-x value above. If FORScan gives you a warning about "incorrect checksum" you can ignore that and continue with the write (it'll write the correct checksum anyways)
See post #1 in the FORScan thread for how to get started: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/forsc...-truck-348987/
Also, here's an affordable adapter not listed in post #1 there that will work with FORScan: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F0GVBWY

Livnitup, thanks for the info.
I sent you a reply PM about enabling backup camera and bed lights too, since my truck came with a backup camera plug cap. I'm assuming the wiring is there for the backup camera. I'll have to do more research and see if it's already wired into the screen and see if the plug is hanging out under the bed.

It was 35.84 including TAX shipped for free to my local dealer. Will post back with results and pics. Looking at the side molding I'm hoping the mount is molded on the back side so all I have to do is trim an opening for the buttons and not have to order a new molding panel. Also mine are black plastic and not painted so if I do have to order the molding with the hole it looks like they are painted so I may have to figure out how to make it work with mine or order the rear panel too and then eventually the passenger side to match.
