Youll need the mirrors with oem cameras, dash button, modules, etc, and some programming. Wont be cheap...

What about just adding front camera?

Same kinda process, not just as simple as pluging in a camera.

I am not certain about the modifications. However, I have the 360 degree camera and it is a waste of money. The resolution is poor and it provides very little benefit. The front mounted camera is useful spotting cars especially trailer hitches when parking and pulling out from blind intersections.

Well, op, the good thing is that having a Lariat, your wring harness has most of what you will need, but as Toddmann stated, it will not be this easy. You will need a different module for the front camera, and one for the side cameras in the mirrors.... you will need a sub harness for the front camera from the main harness...you may need new DDM and PDM modules, if you dont have cameras in your mirrors as the modules there already are written only once...they cannot be reprogrammed to allow the cameras to work. You will also need to locate a new grill with the camera hole in it as the front camera attaches directly to it. My head hurts from looking at diagrams and schematics of this truck...but ive learned alot and am convinced that just about anything can be added. Now with this said, alot has to deal with the BCM and repinning it, make a mistake and you can smoke it as well as other components...No bueno for sure. Best advice...research as much as you can and KNOW what you are doing. Being able to read and UNDERSTAND the wiring diagrams is a huge plus!

What trim level? I believe the 502As are prewired for it but anything less isn't. Without the main 502A wire harness it's almost impossible to add the OEM version from what I read anyway.

There seems to be a good aftermarket solution in the pipeline in this thread if you don't have the 502.

They told me the same thing when I started researching adding the intrusion sensor built into the overhead console.....and I have an XLT 302a. Pretty sure I am the 1st, maybe only XLT with the intrusion sensor. The 502 harness makes it easier but im sure it can still be done. Its just a good deal more difficult because of having to pull new wire and repin the BCM at the harness for the missing wire...and the MS CAN + -but then if one is truly determined, the dashboard in these trucks is fairly easy to remove, pull the dash harness, install a 502a harness and call it a day...lol
