Lol. You are both very correct and very incorrect. I am lucky enough to have a 7 minute, 3 mile commute. But Denver traffic is horrific!!! (Wife works downtown and enjoys 3 hours in traffic each day.)

I use my truck a bunch in the summer to haul toys to trail heads in the mountains. Adaptive cruise control use in the mountains would be a sure fire way to destroy brakes! Cruise control at all is not used in our high country.

Wellll if you never have to go the speed of the car in front of you because the passing lane is open and easily and safely accessible to just go around, you aren't actually in any traffic
