Accelerated while braking
My 2022 F250 7.3 gas (first Ford I've ever owned) sometimes continues accelerating on it's own with my foot off the gas pedal. My truck does it most notably in parking lot situations, light on the throttle, lift my foot OFF the pedal, and it keeps accelerating to the next gear change and lurches into that gear change. I've also had it happen when flooring it to cut out and pass a car, get back in my lane and lift foot OFF the pedal, and it keeps accelerating to the next gear change. Every vehichle I've ever owned in my life, immediately drops rpms as soon as my foot lifts off the gas pedal. This truck does not, at times. I beleive it's a throttle / transmission programming thing with the 10sp and how it makes the 1-3-5 gear jumps in standard mode. (just a hunch). I've started driving in Tow/Haul mode around town so it shifts 1-2-3-4... as it doesn't seem to do it in Tow/Haul.
There was a thread over on FTE where guys were talking about it.

My truck done this in my driveway a bit ago. Pulled out from a stop, light on the throttle for about 100’ and took foot completely off the pedal, truck kept accelerating to 2,000rpm, shifted to higher gear, then fell down to idle.
