Default 9.75 Diff Question

I am trying to sell a Posi Traction 9.75 rear differential, that i purchased by mistake, and haven't had much luck on this forum, assuming the 9.75 didnt come in many f-150's.
anyone have a recommendation where the 9.75 is more popular and i would have more luck, maybe a f-250 site??

tks
jim

F150's are the most common model that would be equipped with the 9.75", so your best bet selling would still be to F150 owners.

There is no such thing as a super 8.8 rear axle

There is actually. Ford redesigned the 8.8" in 2015, so these are known as the Super 8.8"

A variety of things will dictate which axle Ford will install on F150's: What engine, what axle ratio, payload packages...

I expect you are having trouble due to an unclear description and people shy away from that.

9.75 never came with "Posi Traction". Does it have a limited slip, E-locker...?
What is the track width?
What year and specific model did it come out of? Raptor, HDPP?
Electronic or manual parking brake?
What gear set is in it?

^ Quoted for Truth.

I've not seen any post on this you may have made, but as mikeinatlanta points out, there are a lot of ways to enhance (or conversely, detract) your ads appeal. Pricing is another factor, obviously. Most people are wanting to "get a good deal" so consider that when pricing. If the item is common as grass, there will be little interest, generally speaking unless there is SOMETHING to pique interest.

Did you buy it for yourself but then decide not to use it?
