Does anybody know if you can use this to change steering wheel settings?

The M (media) button is not very useful to me. Does anyone use it? I would rather it pause my Sirius radio. Maybe even the left and right arrow be fast forward and rewind.

So while I am listening I can pause my channel when the wife starts talking, without having to go to the center screen and spend 10 secs pausing the show/song. I hate messing with the screen while I'm driving.
