Default 2wd leveling kit

I've been through plenty of leveling threads on here, and figured 1 more wouldn't hurt. I just bought a 17' XLT 2wd. It seems like the popular choices are the readylift 2.25 and the bilstein 5100s. Running the bilsteins at 2.10" should ride better than the readylift? Or should I spend the extra on coilovers?

Thanks

Isn't there an option of shackles on the rear, to bring the rear down a bit instead of bringing the front up? I was considering that, but I don't think the Bilsteins or Fox dampers can fit that, so I dunno right now.

Go with the Bilsteins. And no chance would I lower the rear to make it level.

When I look at the 2WD from the different angles, seems like the rear is a little too high and the front is perfect. It's all subjective, I get. But bringing down the rear doesn't make it looked "slammed" for sure, while raising the front makes it look like a 4WD, which I wanted to avoid all along, as I also realized I didn't want 4WD anyway. Considering that, why is there no chance you lower the rear?
Thanks,
Mike Todd

I have a 2010 2WD, and my 2018 will also be 2WD. I have no use for 4WD, similar to you. The reason I wouldn't lower the rear is mostly cosmetic, but also I'd rather have the extra height. I should have stated this in my post above.

Gotcha! To each his own. I only asked because it sounded like one of those where I hadn't thought of or heard something. But just aesthetics, and that I get.

I have a 2wd I'm getting wheels/tires on this week, going with a 20x9 w/275/60r20 falken wildpeak at3's. My rear is dropped with the frpp shackle, I'll post up a pic after the wheels are on. Depending on how it looks o may be removing the shackle and doing a 1.5-2in level upfront.

I like to haul my atv in the rear and using a drop shackle isn't an option for me either. Would raise the front if I ever cross that road
