2016 xlt 300A SCREW 5.0, 3.31 gears HD Frame 1987lbs payload

 

Question? How do you know if the truck has a hd frame?
Far as i can tell its not on my window sticker.

Yeah, there's a big, square, white sticker on both sides of the truck, right on the frame, right below where the front and rear doors meet. Very easy to spot once you lower your head .

 

Ford sure isn't very transparent about it, that's for sure.
I ordered a new 2020 today, even the dealership staff don't seem to know.
Hopefully mine does have the heavier frame, seems like the 5.0 engine option should get me that.
2020 XLT Regular cab, long box, 4x4, 3.73 electronic locker, tow pkg and trailer brake controller, pkg 301a, loading ramps, spray in box liner, wheel well liners, navigation, running boards, box led lights, and magma paint.

 

Without MaxTow and 3.5EB, it might not have the HPP frame. You'll find out when the truck gets there, since it doesn't say anywhere else, as you pointed out. Good luck.

 

My 2019 lariat screw 3.5, 4x4, off road, max tow 6.5 bed has HD frame and payload of 1640

(and when towing my TT and gear in the bed, I will use every ounce of that 1640)

 

I just looked and mine has the HD frame. Payload is 1,589.

 

Just checked mine, 2020 xlt supercab, 3.5eco. 3:55 rear, tow package. HD frame, 2026 load.

 

Simple question DID you order the HDPP package? This package includes the trailer tow package.
