I'm not getting any warning light that something is wrong, but the error code will not clear so I guess it's another trip back to see what's wrong.
Did you ever go back? Mine still has a code for Pro Trailer Backup not aligned. If I hit the button, it acts like it'll work but I have a feeling it would fail to go through the processes needed to add a trailer. I don't have my own trailer anyway and wouldn't go through the trouble to setup friends' with the system, so I don't know if I care enough to mention it.

My 2020 XLT was built in 2/20. Bought it in October. Backup Camera started acting up right away. Would bloom in bright sunlight, and be too dark at night. Got the recall notice in the mail, and right away on my Ford Pass. Took a while for the dealer to get the parts. They have a service advisor just for recalls, and scheduled everything through her. Got it replace in January; took a morning. First time in there for service. Very massive, Gucci-like service department; drive into a climate controlled front area with 6 or 7 service advisors , and like 30 bays around the corner. Also got my oil changed to full synthetic. Was out by ~1230.
Camera works great now; clearer image in day, and especially at night. Reacts much better to light changes, and no more blooming.

I did go back, however since I had changed the splash screen on the APIM, the tech quoted he could not get the error to clear "because the owner has messed with the software". I explained the issue being with the IPMB to the service advisor but it did no good and I will try again at another dealership. I feel that they just didn't want to roll out the maps to align the cameras properly and used the APIM as an easy out.

Anyone have them fail twice? My front one started getting dark and acting weird today after being perfect since it was replaced.

Weirdly, it was acting odd for a few days but it's been fine for about a month now. Not sure what the deal was with it.

My 2020 is still on the original camera @ 16K miles. i haven't had any issues with it so I haven't had the recall done.

My 2020 (built Oct. 2019, delivered to me Nov. 2019) was fine at first, but my camera started acting up a few months ago also. Same thing as others: Sometimes works, sometimes looks like a 1980's video game, or just a blank screen, with or without a warning that it has failed.

Received the recall letter months ago, contacted the Ford dealer months ago, but where I live in Canada things move slow. Very slow. I'm not expecting a replacement camera to be available until at least next year for my truck, but luckily the rear cam isn't something that I generally rely upon, so it's not a huge deal.

If its not too much of a stretch, can you post the recall notice. I need that to convince my dealer here in the Philippines that Ford USA has indeed placed this issue as a recall item. Thanks in advance.
