Amen! I second that! Thank God that scumbag is out! What an idiotic feature for anyone who buys and plans on keeping any vehicle!

Jumper only works for 15 mins
I don’t care for the auto stop switch and have been driving around for 10 days with my dash torn apart. I have tried at least 6 different jumpers. They work great for maybe 15 mins and then the light goes off and it resumes the auto shut off. So frustrating. 2018 f150 eco boost

I sometimes wonder if the majority of people complaining about Auto Start/Stop have actually drove an F150 with this feature? I was somewhat worried about it when I first purchased the truck and figured I would be one of the guys hitting the "Off" button every time I got inside. But honestly, it is very easy to manage and like another poster stated, it's great for work traffic when I'm stopped for 2+ minutes at each stop. I'm glad I have it on my 2.7EB

Disable auto start stop
Get a ford memorizer...just put one in my 2018 king ranch...works perfect with no jumpers or programming....just plug it in behind your obd plug and bingo... It remembers your drive mode and the status of the auto start button. (Stays off) you can also still turn it back on if desired.
It's $285 but if you just spent that much on a new truck it's worth the extra to get it right....don't cheap out at this point!
