I read the Raptor is slated to get a 7.0 due to lackluster sales with having the eco as it's only choice.
Regardless of the fact it's crazy powerful, people want a big rip snorting V8 that matches its brawny look.

I'm just repeating what I read. I didn't write the article.

Lackluster sales? They have new raptors every time i go to the dealership, they ALL sell for over MSRP here. When i went to autonation in katy to look at some vehicles they said "every raptor on the lot is sold already" All for well over MSRP. I know it's anecdotal but if a huge dealership like that is selling them, i don't think the reason is lackluster sales, i think it's them wanting to step up the game for the raptor.

Like I said I'm just repeating what I read... I'm not offering my opinion on which engine should be in it.
It's the oldest argument since 2011

I now see they're talking about the Platinum in the future... That's good news.
To me anyways.

What ? I read the F150 is getting a 427.
No, you did not. If you have, then post a link to a legit source for this information.

While I appreciate your sense of humor, I don't understand it here or most anywhere else you have posted. You are a unique individual, sir.

This, then, makes sense: a 7-liter for the F150 Raptor, but not the F150.

Look at the article in my post, a couple up from this.

Or just Google Raptor and 7.0 There's tons of articles to pick from.

I don't disagree the dealerships sell everyone they get. I bet it's still a low number.

Then again Lincoln sells 3,000 Navigators and that's a successful year.
I suppose it's all relative.

Raptors do not sell well here. There is a dealership about 4 miles from here still with a 2017 Raptor for sale and 3 2018 Raptors that won't sell. Owner is a retired NASCAR driver and thinks he can overprice everything because it has his name on it. Most locals have no idea who he is. Pathetic.
