I am not talking retail programs I am saying if you are A plan with a PIN. I was looking at an RS and the dealer told me A plan works... The link you provided was X plan, that is retired employees is it not? Don't really care either way just curious....

A-plan is typically only given to Ford employees or families of Ford employees with a PIN to stack with other incentives at any point in time. The PIN MUST be validated by the dealer otherwise they'll get charged back. A-plan will never be offered without a pin as it is below invoice.

X-plan is usually given to employees of large fleet sponsors. The companies themselves are offered different fleet programs (CFIP, CPA and such), but the employees usually get x-plan (and a pin) so the dealer can claim it. Some dealers may offer x-plan pricing to people who don't have PINs as it is a certain percentage above invoice so they're technically not losing money if they don't have a PIN. More of a negotiation tool than anything.

Yeah, the link I posted was x-plan, but plan rules and eligible vehicles are the same across the board. The low volume/special edition vehicles are not able to be purchased on plan pricing, pin or not. I had my peepers on a 1st gen raptor years ago and have a plan, and found out when I was doing my initial visits to the dealers that they weren't going to let it happen. Don't quote me because it has been a few years, but I believe it won't even let them input a pin on these vehicles in VINCENT.

Actually I made a slight error, A Plan is for active Ford employees and family and Z plan is for retired employees and both require a PIN, X plan is a not the same discount level and restricts you on special vehicles, A or Z does not. A few years ago they changed the A and Z to allow for the performance vehicles to be eligible. I just bought my F150 on Z which is exactly the same as A plan.

X plan pricing is (invoice - .04%) + $275 program fee.
A/Z plan pricing is Invoice - Holdback (3%) - Ad Fee + $275 program fee
D plan (dealer employee) is A/Z plan price + $100.

Holdback is 3% of (MSRP - destination charge).

Not picking on you here, just a PSA that all of this information is readily available yet people still guess at s**t.

Also, a dealer would much rather someone use a X plan PIN than a simple negotiated price at X plan w/o a pin. Why? Because Ford gives them reimbursement $ for X Plan. From the Ford Partner Q&A sheet:
"25. Do Dealers make a profit on Plan purchases and/or leases?
Yes. Dealers receive a commission from Ford Motor Company or Lincoln Motor Company on each Plan transaction."

I used to know what the $ amount was (reimbursement)...or at least I thought I knew what it was...but for the life of me I can't remember and can't find it anywhere.

ETA: I think I may have found something on this: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/21...ml#post1421326. Note that this is pretty dated, but makes sense. So on a 50K x-plan net price, the dealer would get back $1000 from Ford.

You can buy a Raptor AZXD plan. I am sure of it, I have D plan and it's not excluded. The only thing they ever excluded are the base loss leader fiesta.

The latest news today is from a fleet page describing the pricing with and without a couple of packages, the link is below! Seems to be pretty believable and accurate; however, at that price I feel like it's gonna make a lot of people happy.

Supercab: $48,325
Supercrew: $51,310
