Well it will be a week tomorrow morning. Just got off the phone with Ford Service and they say they still don't have an answer from Ford as to what the problem is.. Incredible...!!! maybe another week or a month without my new truck... I am amazed Ford has such a poor response time.. I am getting a suspicion there may be design problems that they have not had a resolution figured out for.. not a happy camper...

Sorry to hear of your trouble. I picked up my Limited about 2 weeks ago. So far I'm at 1200 miles and has gotten much smoother shifting since I picked it up. I hope you get an answer soon!

Day 10... Ford still does not have a clue what is wrong & they have not done a thing besides "run tests". I am now considering getting the truck back and taking it to another dealer..

Just about 1,000 miles on my 2017 10 speed, no issues yet! It has gotten smoother and smoother. Doesn't hunt gears too much at all, it seems to always be in the right gear for the job. And even if it does hunt gears it's so smooth you don't even feel it.

Not bashing how the transmission functioned when it worked, very smooth and quiet, but mine has a defect which Ford can't figure out or is lying to me about. The person with the issue on the Raptor forum finally got a new transmission, so I suppose after a few more weeks of the Ford knuckleheads trying to figure out which side of the wrench to use, I may be on the same plan..

I described the transmission noise like a loud vacuum pump, maybe some of the guru's here that have torn down transmissions may have a clue. Here is a video of the sound it was making when it was not working... (I just held the phone by the noise, did not try and be a videographer)

They keep it too long look at the Lemon Law in your state. Be gone with it...

Ford needs to start testing this stuff before throwing it out to the consumer.
