Default 2016 HD Payload thread

My apologies if there is a similar thread already.

I ordered a 2015 Lariat Screw 6.5' box with 3.5 ecoboost in December of 2014. Like others, my order was cancelled.

I placed a new order a few weeks ago for the same truck but in a different colour. Just like last time, my dealer seems to have no idea when it will be built, but some documents posted in another thread show first quarter of 2016

If you've ordered a truck with the HD Payload package and have some info to share, or want to commiserate about the wait, this is the place!

I have re-ordered mine as well; same truck ordered last year but with Sync 3 and the trailer backing assist. As per Ford Marketing, they are to be built in late February or Early March to get delivery before the cancelled-order customer satisfaction incentive expires. It expires March 31 and I am told no extensions will be offered. Hopefully the labor situation at the Kansas City Plant won't delay production further. Ford has secured a second supplier of frames besides Metalsa, and the new aluminum body panel production for 2016 is supposed to make body panels both faster to produce and stronger in body strength.

I also ordered a 2015 XLT screw with HD payload package in April which was cancelled. I am interested in learning more about the $2000 customer satisfaction incentive mentioned above.

I have called ford marketing and incentive depts. with no luck. If you have any written description or coupon on the incentive please post.

If available it will definitely be a factor in whether I reorder a 2016 HD payload.

If Ford issues you a $2,000 apology certificate, and you promptly order a new truck, and they don't manufacture said truck by the time the certificate expires, I can guarantee you that they will extend the expiration date. I wouldn't be at all concerned.

However, check closely for "you must order your new truck by ____" on the $2,000 certificate.

This is an incentive that your dealership should have communicated to you and locked in when your order was cancelled. Call your dealership; they get a code for you that is entered in like a rebate when your new order is placed. There wasn't a consumer certificate but just that code for the dealer; you can ask to have them print a confirmation for you. It was for either purchasing a truck out of dealer inventory by July 8 or ordering a '16 and taking delivery by March 31.

Default Reordered 2016 HD Payload

I did get the $2000 credit for the cancelled 2015 truck and reordered a 2016
500A Lariat HD payload package in December.

Word from Ford was expected build of HD trucks to be late Q1 at the earliest.

Mine is still not showing up in COTUS.

Anyone else have any HD order news?

Unfortunately the $2,000 credit expires March 31. I looks like we may not get our 2016 trucks in time to utilize the customer satisfaction incentive for not building the 2015's. My 2016 is still in "order processing" status since early September. The 2015 ordered in March never showed up in COTUS. I never have tried the '16.
