Holy Warpage! I put a topper on mine to keep the bed dry, so if I see that in mine, going to get out the caulk gun and seal it up. Just keep the corners open for drainage, but I know I sure wouldn't want large gaps like that to throw road crap into the bed. I use mine for hauling things I don't want to get wet, and don't want to worry about grit getting between the Bedrug and paint.

Goodluck with the dealer.

I had all my side seams caulked except the front with special caulk for aluminum by Rhino liner before they sprayed it. My water drains up front and in the rear at each corner around my tailgate seal.

I had mine caulked to keep 95% dust, dirt, salt, water of my tools and gear for work and road trips.

Looks like a trap for sand, stone, salt or anything else you might haul in a truck. Where the seams are so small you wouldn't be able to clean it easily and the paint would wear off then the aluminum. Not good for anyone who uses their truck bed.

What have you been hauling, could there have been something very heavy in the bed that warped it. Even steel will warp with enough weight, I know because I have done it. I can't tell from the pictures whether I would be concerned but keep in mind that the bed was not meant to be the interior of the vehicle. If I remember correctly though my '02 Silverado had a bead of caulk all the way around the inside of the bed on the sides.

Mine has open seams as well, large enough to see the ground below. This means water and dirt will get in under the BedRug and eventually wear into the paint. When I pulled the BedRug out of the 2014 before it went to salvage, the bed underneath was as clean as the day I put the rug in. I doubt this will be the case with this truck. Nothing has been put in the bed of my truck that would have caused stress, so it came like this.

Default Sorry for the wait. Bed is junk.

So I finally got it to the dealer and discovered that the bed is riveted together. Apparently Ford expects you to carry marshmallows because if anything sorta heavy hits the walls they begin to separate between the rivets. The dealer said that it is not a recognized issue with Ford so there is no approved fix. The fix would be adding more rivets. HORRIBLE, WEAK DESIGN! I understand the aluminum for weight savings but the bed should still be welded steal!
