Wipers Won't Stop
Just as an FYI my wipers began not stopping when on the first switch (Delay), they would just keep going. Quick research and looks to be a common problem, Multi Function Switch (Turn Signal Switch).
Here were the part numbers that I used to replace mine:
FL3Z-13K359-AC OR Motorcraft SW-7917
Search for both p/n's and find the cheapest. Tasca offers the FL3Z-13K359-AC for ~$32.78 however the shipping was ~$9. This made for $41. I started searching for the Motorcraft p/n and found a vendor on Amazon $ 35.35 w/ free shipping. I know a few bucks is not a lot, but I am always trying to get the most for my money. I ordered the Motorcraft SW-7917 and it came in a box labeled with both p/n's (SW-7917 & FL3Z-13K359-AC).
Replacement was a breeze, remove three screws under steering wheel holding the column plastic guard (I think these were 11/32") then carefully separate the two plastic pieces. The switch is held in by two T10 screws. Remove the T10 screws and the switch will slide right out. Install the new switch and re-assemble. This took me 10-15 minutes tops with the hardest part being separating the covers.
I was disappointed that this happened to my 3 year old truck with only 40k miles, but it was an easy fix.

nice thread, my 2016 did this last winter when the temps got below freezing. Then they stopped in Feb. or so. Now they are back to it and even when it's in the 60s it still wipes at the lowest interval....annoying.
yea, see a little a lot of different Fords with this problem. Should be a recall. The Ford Service Bulletin scares me by saying something about dealing with the air bag when searching answers to my 2012 model F150. But do see a lot of other owners of different years replacing the switch.........maybe I need to read the bulletin more precisely. Just wish I find a 2012 owner who has dome it.

Intermittently my wipers will refuse to turn off, or they turn on when I use the turn signal. When they turn on from the turn signal, 90% of the time it’s when I put on the left turn signal. If I use the wipers, and then turn them off, they sometimes stay on the lowest setting. Quite annoying. Seems like this was a major problem for the previous generation, but I have found very little to nothing for the current gen. Previous gen required the replacement of the turn signal stalk. Any ideas?
Anyone know the turn signal stalk P/N? Anyone know how to replace it?
