Default 2015 trade-in value?

It's out of curiosity has anyone searched their trade in value yet on their 2015 F150?

No, but I traded a 2015.5 Denali in on My F150 and lost 1500.00. I got 42500.00 for the Denali.

Before that, I traded a 2014 SLT in on my 2015.5 Denali. I lost a couple grand on that.

If you really like trading, it can be done without too much pain.

Why trade the Denali? They've got a nice power train?

I've always traded quickly. The 5.3 is plenty powerful, but like the 5.0. The Ecoboost has so much more responsiveness.

Guess it all depends on how good of deal/rebates you got up front. I can't see how it's a financially sound idea but a lot of people on here seem to do it for one reason or another.

It's really not financially sound. You just do it because you want to.

Default 2015 Full Size Truck Expected Residual Values

According to the CULA, here are the expected residuals for selected 2015 F150s (as of Sep 30, 2015) and the competition. The column headings are in months of age (i.e., 24 months, 30 months, 36 months, etc.).

Color emphasis mine.

Things that I noted (personally; only with respect to expected residual values):
  • Ram is awful
  • Tundra kicks ***
  • F150 is the same as Tundra after 54 months

I just checked mine. Only because of this thread. I have no intention of trading.

Nada clean trade is $1600 less than what I paid for it. Not bad.

I have tried trading mine in and they offered me $49,500. Mine is a ecoboost platinum screw FX4 if that gives any idea.

Most dealers use Black Book not NADA.
