I can't tell a difference from my 2013. Of course I do run Duratrac's on both of them.

Does great in Canadian winters. I also have true winter tires though.

ditto. my goodyear wrangler all-terrains with 22K miles are not great in the snow.

I got rid of my goodyear adventures with kevlar and replaced with bfg ko2s and i now think its better in the snow than my 08 f150 which was a tank.

I have BF Goodrich K02's on my truck (also on my 2012). Still an amazing vehicle in the snow and ice...

'16 2.7 XLT Sport CrewCab with the hankook 18"

First good storm here today, it definitely felt lighter to me on the back end than my '14 (obviously it's cause it is!). Went to 4x4 earlier than I normally would, but with that said felt fine in 4x4.

these were some back hilly roads, so nothing I wouldn't expect. Just used downshift button to lock gears out and didn't drive like a moron. I felt safe and thought it performed as it should.

It's still a ~5000 lb 4x4.....it's going to do as well as any other 4x4 PU.

Tires will make more of a difference than a few hundred pounds.

I had that same question until I purchased one. While I have not had mine on snow or ice yet I took both my new '16 F150 SCREW 5.5' bed and my 02 Silverado ext. cab 6.5' bed to the truck scales. They came in within 50# of each other and the weight on the rear axle was the same. After weighing them I am not at all concerned about the traction because of the aluminum body, I did like the limited slip rear on the Chevy though. Also Ford must really be putting a lot of extra in the frames, axles and suspension to come up with that weight. They were 5350# pounds for the Ford and 5400# for the Chevy.
