First good storm here today, it definitely felt lighter to me on the back end than my '14 (obviously it's cause it is!). Went to 4x4 earlier than I normally would, but with that said felt fine in 4x4.
these were some back hilly roads, so nothing I wouldn't expect. Just used downshift button to lock gears out and didn't drive like a moron. I felt safe and thought it performed as it should.

I had that same question until I purchased one. While I have not had mine on snow or ice yet I took both my new '16 F150 SCREW 5.5' bed and my 02 Silverado ext. cab 6.5' bed to the truck scales. They came in within 50# of each other and the weight on the rear axle was the same. After weighing them I am not at all concerned about the traction because of the aluminum body, I did like the limited slip rear on the Chevy though. Also Ford must really be putting a lot of extra in the frames, axles and suspension to come up with that weight. They were 5350# pounds for the Ford and 5400# for the Chevy.
