Maybe I misunderstood you. Can you post a picture of what you are talking about?

What trim level do you have?

When I first looked I thought it was item 26 in the parts view, because it was shown only on the pass side. But now I see it is called out as the latch, with a left and right. It seems like it should be shown here. But I don't see it either. You may have to call them, or your dealer. I think all online dealers use the same views from the online catalog.

Can you post the part numbers for those 2 pieces?

Thanks

On the cover assembly that you replaced, are there just clips holding it on and it looks like there are wired connections on the back. Am I looking at this correctly?

Clips hold it in place. You can just pull it down to have access to the wiring connectors for the HL switch and e-park switch if you have it. There are 3 bolts to remove it completely IIRC. The switch(es) are removed easily too.

The p/n number above for the cover assembly has openings for the pedal adjust switch & the E-park switch as shown below:

If you don't have the e-park switch, like me then the p/n will be different. I put in my VIN when I ordered, so Idk how I got the wrong part. But it was easily fixed by removing the gray one from my existing cover and plati-dip it black. Removed the two hole black one from the new part and glued my this one in place. It was pretty easy and it came out good. You may want to call them before you order if you don't have the e-park switch and save yourself some additional work. I could have exchanged it but didn't want to do that. Sorry for not mentioning it in the first post, but I had forgot about it.

See my post above if you only have the pedal adjust switch and don't have the e-park brake switch.

The connector for the e-park connector just dead plugs into the back.
